Memo for Nemo is an account of the human inhabitation of the undersea, in fact and fiction. Author William Firebrace takes as its starting point Jules Verne’s novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, with the Nautilus submarine and its captain Nemo.

I worked with William, the AA editorial team, and graphic designers John Morgan studio to copy-edit and help tell the visual history of this world, from its mysteries to its hallucinogenic delights.
